ACER ASPIRE 5251-1513 no video, please help

the laptop worked great and then one day when i went to turn it on, all the lights came on but it dosent even attempt to turn on the screen, nothing happens when i plug in vga or hdmi, any help would be appreciated

Is it new & within warranty? If it is, I suggest you bring it to the service center. If you need to leave it, ask if it is possible to take your HDD specially if you have sensitive data.

For my case, I usually troubleshoot by removing RAM stick & leave only 1 at a time. This is so far the most common problem I encounter with laptops and most of the time fix the problem as it turn out to be a bad RAM stick that prevent the laptop from booting up.
