Can you install a motherboard with eight standouts instead of nine

Need help please,can you install a new motherboard with eight standouts instead of nine for atx board.I only got eight standouts.

yes, you can survive with as little as 5. I assume you are refering to the spacers?

Thanks for the reply and help.I finally figured out I had eight standoffs and a plastic push through type thing to secure the board at the end.Good to know that you can do it with five though.
