When I press the ctrl key when I am dragging and dropping I should see a
PLUS sign next to the cursor.

For some reason I dont see this anymore...
I see only the plain arrow.
Does anyone know how to restore this???

Either you are pressing Alt, or your keys got switched, or something is
messed in your keybaord.

No the function is correct, only the plus sign does not show...

No. Its not my keyboard and I am not doing anything wrong.

its some problem with windows.

Oh, perhaps then it's a mouse cursor issue. Display Properties,
Settings, Advanced, Troubleshooting, and move the slider one notch left
and see if the system behaves.
