HELP CPU heatsink

So i'm installing the hyper 212 evo and having some trouble. I know what to do its just not working out well. First off there is 2 sets of 4 standoffs, some in a intel LGA 2011 bag then 4 bigger standoffs which do i use? So i put the 4 bigger stand offs into my motherboard (1155) and when i go to fit the backplate the stand offs just fall out the front of the motherboard?

Can someone help me ?

Yeah ive successfully got the back plate on, now i just need to fit the heatsink on itself. Does the retention plate slot in or do you just place it in the heatsink then screw it on ?

Its not the clearest of manuals. Does the retention plate just sit in the heat sink or does it screw into it?

The back plate is mounted to the board with the stand-off's. The male end goes through the board (From the side you mount the CPU on) and the back-plate holes.(On the other side) They have a flat side on the threaded shaft of each that should only fit through the back plate one way. (That way they shouldn't turn when you use the nuts to secure them in place.)

This is all before you even start to install the heat sink itself.
