I have never built a computer before, however it seems like it may be the right thing to do at this point. I am a casual gamer and I want to play games like Diablo III, SWTOR, etc. My 5 year old laptop just doesn't cut it.

I am using the template from the sticky.

Approximate Purchase Date: Before September

Budget Range: $800-$1000

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, surfing the internet

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Parts to Upgrade: Need everything

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Whatever is best, do not have much knowledge

Location: Halifax, PA, USA

Parts Preferences: Again, whatever is best

Overclocking: Due to my inexperience, probably not

SLI or Crossfire: No idea

Your Monitor Resolution: No idea

Additional Comments: Diablo III, SWTOR are the main games I want to look into now, maybe Skyrim. Because I am new I am also looking for build guides or good articles to read as a new builder. I am researching on my own but any help is appreciated.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Laptop cannot handle games anymore
