Video card suggestions for diablo 3?

Hey all, I have a 2 year old pc with decent specs but nothing special when it comes to the video card. I'm looking to upgrade so that I can play Diablo 3 on decent settings. I am not sure which video card is in my range ($50-100) and would be compatible with my PC, and/or if I need to upgrade my power supply first. Below are my specs. Any help would be appreciated!

> Mainboard : Dell 0C2KJT

> Chipset : Intel H57

> Processor : Intel Core i5 760 @ 2800MHz

> Physical Memory : 6144MB 3 x 2048 DDR3-SDRAM
> Video Card : ATI Radeon HD 5450

> Hard Disk : Western Digital WD1001FAES-75W7A0 ATA Device (1000GB)

> DVD-Rom Drive : HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GH50

> Operating System : Windows 7 Home Premium Home Edition Media Center 6.01.7601 Service Pack 1 (64-bit)

> DirectX : Version 11.00

  1. probably you can geed good setting out of diablo with that GPU:

    7750

what is your Power supply? make sure your psu is at least 400w. if not, i highly recommend you upgrading it to a good brand psu with at least 400w...
  2. Well it is to bad that your budget is so low and wanting to play that game but with the 7750 you will be able to play. I have no idea what setting you will get to play on but I will link you to this.

What I am linking you too is a 7750 vs a 6770 but they only put the 5770 in because it is the same exact card as the 6770 the only difference is the numbers. The only problem is both cards are $100.00 or more.

The $100.00 is with the rebate. But the two cards are real close to each other with the 7750 just a tad bit better. The only other card that would be under the $100.00 mark is the 6670 or anything lower.

I hope this helps and good luck to you and I hope find your card.

  3. blizzard games have always favored nvidia cards. it would be a dumb mistake to buy ati specifically for playing a blizzard game. I just built a pentium g600 series +nvidia 440gt and it runs d3 with everything maxed out on 1920x1080 around 30-70fps.
