Hello, i am having trouble deciding what 27 inch monitor to buy for gaming mostly and movies. i live in Switzerland and willing to spend about 300 CHF in an a LED monitor, the store i will use (personal preference) is the following:

https://www.digitec.ch/Startseite.aspx

there is a link on the top right to change languages if the page is displayed in german. from the menu on the left under peripherals and displays i use the led, 27 inch and 1080 filters and sort the results by price. i have from there the following options:

Philips 273E3LSB - https://www.digitec.ch/ProdukteDetails2.aspx?Reiter=Details&Artikel=225528
Asus VE278Q - https://www.digitec.ch/ProdukteDetails2.aspx?Reiter=Details&Artikel=201082
BenQ GL2750HM - https://www.digitec.ch/ProdukteDetails2.aspx?Reiter=Details&Artikel=233873
Samsung SyncMaster T27B300 - https://www.digitec.ch/ProdukteDetails2.aspx?Reiter=Details&Artikel=243490

while i have found reviews for the first 3, the first one does not have hdmi and i have found no reviews on the samsung. i currently have a benq 24 inch non led monitor which never had any issues but i am a bit biased towards samsung since they are known (to me at least) for their displays and since the product has just been released i would think quality would be higher than older displays. the thing that worries me is that there might be any downsides to buying a monitor that has TV functions in it (for that price range).

any opinions or suggestions on this matter are greatly appreciated. i put this under the video card sub section since i could not find the proper display section to post this.

I'd go for the ASUS, it's better suited for gaming and the colors are fine it also has a low response rate if you play first person shooters. The Samsung is great for colors though.

Samsung har svarstid: 5 ms vilket inte är önskvärt. BenQ 2 ms ASUS har eller vilket är bättre.

What is the benefit of the HDMI over the DVI if you are not using the monitor's built-in speakers?

OK. I see. As an extra connector for second input. I can relate to that.
