like maybe if one monitor was in the dvi spot and the other in VGA? i dont know anything about this stuff

yessir that would work...you can run dual monitors by having one monitor plugged into the dvi port and one hooked up to the hdmi port...if the second monitor doesnt have a hdmi port (that would be the best configuration) you can purchase a cheap adapter that will change it to dvi or vga if needed. you could even run triple monitors if you wanted.

so could i do with on graphics card do one monitor w/ vga and one with dvi?

yep that would work perfectly fine....you could even hook up three monitors to this one graphics card and it would work
