i recently bought a Point of View NVdia GeForce GT240 1GB SDDR3 for my desktop. After inserting it in my PCI slot and installing the drivers from the provided cd, the card seemed to work fine. I played crysis at high setting for a few days and was very happy about it. But one day, when my pc was left idle for an hour or so, i get a blue-screen followed by a physical memory dump. On restarting, the log in screen does not appear. The screen just remains black.
I tried reinstalling the graphics card but the same problem occur again.
I now am forced to sun all the games in INTEL HD 1000 (Sandy Bridge), which isn't really exciting.
It probably is a problem with the card. Is it now damaged? Is there any way to fix it??
