Hey all,

how does it work when person is enchanting another person's item? I'm
guessing you don't wanna transfer your item to the enchanter if it's a
person you don't know (and soulbound stuff can't even be traded, can it?)

So is that what the 'will not be traded' slot in the trade window is for?

And the same question goes for an engineer fitting a scope on a weapon? (But
I'm guessing it's the same answer as well :)

And one more question about enchanting: when ppl in e.g. IF are saying
something like "WTS enchant this-or-that" they want to enchant your stuff
right? Not sell the recipe?

TIA

That 'Will not be traded' box is exactly for things like enchants or
additions to weapons, or even opening lockboxes, The item appears on
the otherpersons screen and they can addthe enchant, will appear on the
toooltip for your screaen. The other person does not get to keep the
item, but you both have to press 'Trade' when you're happy.

Generally all the shouts in IF are to sell the actual enchant onto an item.

Yes.

No, anyone can fit a scope on a bow/gun. You need to be an engineer to make
it, not to install it.

If they were selling the recipe, they'd either put it straight into the
auction house, or they'd link it, or mention that it was a recipe to not
confuse anyone who was looking for the actual enchantment.
