Hello people.

I upgraded the motherboard, CPU, GPU and RAM in my PC.

Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V Pro
CPU: i7 3770K
RAM: Corsair Vengance LP 16gb
GPU: Sapphire 6970
PSU: Corsair HX 750

The thing is when I started it and had all 4 RAM sticks in, the DRAM LED turns on and there's no picture on my screen. I took one RAM stick and started from left to right slots. The two left ones doesn't give me a picture, only turns on the DRAM LED till it turns off the system and on again. The two right ones works, which brings me to the next problem:

It goes to a screen which tells me windows couldn't start and it recommend doing a start up repair tool (Which takes ages and does not help), and the other option is to start as normal. I chose the second one and it says "Starting windows" and the colors goes in a circle to make the windows symbol, but the freeze up for a couple of seconds, and I get a tiny second with bluescreen and then it restarts doing the same procedure.

Is it the motherboards fault? What can I do. I really need my computer ASAP.

Help!

Excuse my english, I'm from Norway!

Yes I do that, and then windows is starting, but then as I wrote above the "Starting Windows" screen with the animation freezes and restarts the machine.

Ok, thank you! I'll try that as soon as I get a CD-ROM.

But what about the RAM slots? Is the motherboard faulty?

I know, but that doesn't work. I'm gonna buy a new one and send this one in return. I've tried updating BIOS to newest version, I've tried one stick in A1 or A2, I've tried the Memo OK button several times, but nothing works.

I have done so.
I also saw that the 1155 socket on the motherboard had two bent pins. I saw pictures on google, and they don't have them, so guessing that might be the problem!

I got my new board, and the system is running very good. Overclocked 3770k at 4,4 GHz and 16gb RAM!
