http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

so those are the cables in question. i want to know, can i use these as a replacement to the cables my psu came with? i only want to do this because i have the bitfenix ghost case and for some reason the psu cables have a hard time fitting behind the back panel and i want to slim everything down. so can i do this? thanks

No.

It's clearly stated: Compatible with all SilverStone modular PSU released after 2009

Do you have a SilverStone modular PSU made after 2009?

Modular connectors and their wiring at the power supply modular interface are not standardized across brands and even models within the same brand.

You're making generalized assumptions without doing any research. That will get you into trouble or waste your money.
