im planning on buying a nvidia geforce GT 430 Low Profile 1gb
But im worried it will bottleneck my cpu
Specs:
AMD Sempron 140 2.70 Ghz
3gb RAM
Will it Bottleneck?

should go close they are both terrible so long as your not expecting too much, that chips uses socket am3 so you could always upgrade your cpu too, if thats an option, spend as much as you can afford on a gpu and upgrade the cpu later when u can afford it

the gt430 and that cpu are both not good for gaming. you will be playing will be in 800x600 resolution with all details on low just to get playable FPS.. you would be better off just getting a PS3.

yes but with the specs of the computer you are planning to get, performance will be far worse than that of a ps3.

Your computer sucks compared to a ps3. My 4 year old acer 5930g laptop is more powerful with a 9600m gt then the ps3 but yours will struggle for any game as yuour cpu is so slow its laugable. Most basic budget cpu's are now close to 10x faster then the cpu you have.

Yeah you're gonna get much out from you're CPU dude to it being a single core, unless you can overclock it, that could help..
And if you can overclock it, a 7750/7770 works with your budget.

No,i have a low budget and a low profile tower,so i'll keep the gpu

yes, it can play quake III on medium-high at 40fps. On farcry III you will get 4 fps.

Yeah, dont go on performance video's from Youtube. There's always some catch like its very low resolution, theres no FRAPS counter so you dont even know the FPS as they play, theres no guarantee the footage was even made on the rig they claim to be running off, they often never tell the settings the game is running at.

EDIT: I'v seen some ridiculous claims on Youtube videos. Something along the lines of an FX-4100, 550ti and 4GB at 1333Mhz getting 60+ FPS on ultra in BF3. Utter trite.

Also running a game in 800x600 and getting 30FPS, medium settings. You would be better of with an Xbox or Playstation at that point.

Off topic but didn't you play Uncharted,Last of Us,Ni no Kuni,RDR,GTA V etc ?Sure PC is the best but PS3 exclusives are the GOAT.
