I am a new builder, am looking to build my first pc soon, and i have a question. I have selected the intel i5 3570k processor with intel hd graphics 4000 and i am looking to get my own graphics card so the processor graphics isn't necessary. Is there anyway that the gpu and the gfx on the processor will interfere with each other? Do i have to disable the processor graphics in order to use my GPU? or i don't have to do anything at all?

The reason why i added motherboard graphics to the title is because what if i choose to also get a motherboard with onboard graphics. will i have to disabled that or anything?

No, usually when you install a video card and install the driver for it, the onboard graphics will automatically disable.

If that isn't the case when you install the video card, you can then just disable the processor graphics.
