Can i use this thermal paste from my h100 some is missing

i bought the h100 oculd not fir it on and some got on cpu and that's all the thermal paste left on my h100 can i still use that thermal paste

Ehh. To be honest, the paste layout of it is a bad idea (you don't want the whole heat spreader covered in paste) - I'd clean the whole thing up, buy some Arctic Silver 5 (you can get it at Radioshack), and put a thin, short, vertical line on the CPU to cover the die, that'll give you much better cooling performance than the whole pad of paste the H100 came with.
