Since you got a full hd monitor, go for the 7750 for better performance.
Between the Sapphire 7750 & the MSI 7750, just get the cheaper one if you are on tight budget.

It is really awesome.

I am using it for 6months.

I have played all games in high settings, BF3, NFS RUN, ASC REVELATION etc.


The card is awesome, buy it and 1 more thing, try to buy ddr5.

no a hd 6750 will not work on a 350w powersupply.
and i recommend you change your powersupply because cooler master makes crap psus.
get one from corsair, seasonic ETC.
and i have beeen using a hd 6770 (sapphire) for last one year and i feel sapphire has better service and quality in india

why is MSI the preferred producer of this 7750 card?

it looks like you are paying $20-$25 more for the MSI card vs other brands...pretty stiff premium...

Brand wise, it's a matter of opinion. Quality wise, MSI is known for quality.

what if power usage is a concern? My PC is only 475W and I don't want to really test it...overclock generally requires more power? or is that just wrong?

Sometimes, the overclocks are not that high, and the power consumption only increases by a little bit.

well 7750 msi version is priced at rs7298 and sapphire at rs 7590

in my opinion you should collect some money and then get a gpu but it depends on you. 

i am just 18,so resources for collecting money are minimal
also 6770 will not work on 350w psu.....

How much is the 6670 & how much is the 7750? Can you wait & save for the difference?

7750 - rs7400(msi version)

Wow... that's quite a difference. But looking at chart from Fantastik250, the performance is 31% up. Compared to price difference of 7400/5500=1.34%. It may just be worth it.

As usual, budget issue... Nothing that cannot be remedied by patience & prudence...

If you mean another cooler master 350W model, post the link here so we can make certain. As mentioned many times, the 7750 is the safest bet. I can only see $10 difference in price (newegg) between the 6750 ( $90 but require 6PIN ) vs the 7750 ($ 100 but does not require 6PIN). Why not go for the simplest solution & get 7750? The $10 is worth it.

Make sure the 7750 you get is the ~800 Mhz version. AMD is refreshing the 77xx line up and there is a 900 Mhz. So the card may require a 6-pin.

And you need a 6-pin power connector for a 6750.
