Could i remove the "online store" section in the right side of the
Taskbar in WMP 10?

Yes, easily done. Uninstall WMP 10 and reinstall WMP 9.

Unless you are Attila the Hun, you may prefer not having "Rip" and "Burn" in
the toolbar either

Media player normally cannot be uninstalled unless you use system restore...

Start > Run > RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection
%windir%\INF\wmp.inf,Uninstall
