if you have some more cash get the intel i5 cpu if your going to be a gamer. the intel cpu are better for gaming then amd. the amd cpu are good for photoshop or cad.

I am looking into a new computor build through NCIX and am in Niagara area.

You should probably look at getting NCIX to build a system for you (costs $50).

If you go to the systems new build section here and enquire by making a post indicating what you will use it for and ask for suggested builds someone will set you up. If you are not going to do heavy gaming then I doubt that you need to pay that much if all you need is the box without monitor keyboard etc.

A good computer for what? No one can give an an honest, accurate answer until we know how you are going to use it.

i am mostly going to use it for games such as BF3, minecraft or guild wars 2 when it comes out

assuming gaming is your priority its a good build .. for other purposes its still a good build
