Been sorting through peices on some sites, and just wanted a second pair of eyes to make sure everything would play nice with one another.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136775 HDD
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231180 memory

http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0365238 Power

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116406 and the chip.

Was tasked with going as cheap as possible. It's mainly gonna be used for just average use some web surfing, with facebook games being the biggest thing.

I'll be using windows xp32 bit for the os because already got it.

So is it up to snuff or would one thing for whatever reason just refuse another?

Any comments on any better deals for cheaper goods? Pretty much set on the processor though. Seems like a good balance between scraping the barrel and the low end I processors that cost about double.

Looks decent enough. It will all work just fine.

I would advise a more recognized PSU brand then TR2 (whoever they are). Corsair is pretty good and has a 500W unit. It even fits into 80+ standards which that TR2 unit failed at miserably (only 72% efficient).
Corsair Builder Series 500W. $60

A bigger HDD wouldn't go amiss. Its $75 for 320GB, you can get a TB for $90, and its faster.
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM. $90

I know but like I said it's a dirt cheap build. Actually I'm thinking of dropping the 320 and using the older sata HDD which is technically newer as it was bought not to long ago for more room on one of those ancient dells when they were still shipping those bulky monitors standard.

Course now adays ya gotta pay extra to get one heh.

And I think thermalake is decent enough. It's what I used for this build, 450 watt I think and it's been running day after day for prolly 5 years now.

The other option was http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817159128

Brand names help but I usually buy based off of the masses feedback, sorting through the bs ones and lookn at the long ownership ones.

Thanks for the lookover.

Ya but why. I mean the computer isn't used for anything. Nothing. I think the most hardcore thing this build will see is facebook bingo lol.

No music, no pictures, no downloads, nothing. Hoyal card games, some majong, and facebook. That's the routine. Wouldn't even need to build a cheapo if the dell from a decade back wasn't finally giving.
