Can someone help with a good video card for my computer? (currently in

Hey,

I've had this computer for quite a while, and the graphics capabilities have been really really annoying me. I can't really play any new games, and if I can, it runs poorly.

I've decided to try to get a graphics card. I'm currently integrated (NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430).

I've had a look on PC Wizard and I'm PRETTY sure I can get a new video card. But I don't know what video card would work. These are my motherboard specs (please tell me if you need any more information, I don't want to clutter up this post so much)

I'm just wondering if anyone can provide me with links to video cards that are in the £70-100 range, that would work on my machine, and that would be able to run some new games on medium-high quality with good fps?

I had a look, and would you guys think that the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti would work on my computer?

More about good video card computer currently
  1. Definitely need to know how much watts your Power Unit Supply is.
  2. I can't view any of that.

    What psu?
  3. if this is it, btw- spoilers are annoying:

    Power Supply 300W

you are pretty much looking at a lower end graphic card.
    SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6670 1GB 128-bit DDR3 $64.99
    $54.99 after mail-in rebate card

excuse me for not looking if you needed low profile, i'm hungry . .gonna eat.

I agree that spoilers are annoying, it's my first post here and I thought that spoilers work like other websites. When I saw that they didn't, I tried to edit my post and take out the spoilers, but it wouldn't let me. Sorry.

And that is my computer, yes. Sorry about the info muckup. I thought that I would need a nvidia card seeing as I already have the nvidia chip? Confusing.. Is there any other video card that's slightly better than that that would work?
  5. The 7750 800Mhz version. That's the only best card that doesn't need to use the power supply.

no worries and as fantasik suggested:
    ASUS HD7750-1GD5-V2 Radeon HD 7750 $109.99
you do not need a nvidia card just because your motherboard has that chipset; it will work with any card.
