when i upgraded my computer, i built a brand new one, keeping only my nic. problem is all my music that i downloaded is on old hard drive. how could i go about getting the music from the old hard drive to my computer

Depends on the status of the HDD with your music on it.

1. If your old HDD is still installed as a slave drive your can just remap your MP3 player to the folder on that drive.

2. If you installed the old HDD in another PC you can network the two PC's and copy & paste them to your new HDD.

3. If you have the old HDD in stalled on another PC that is not networked, but you have a Zip drive, copy them to the Zip disk and transfer the files by copying them to the new HDD.

4. If the old HDD is just laying idle reinstall it as a slave drive then do the above step #1.

5. Most unpopular option. Download you music again.
