What is best graphics card for me

i have just found my system is giving me lines all over the screen can still see what is going on in the background"just"i think my graphics card maybe on the way out can anyone help me i need to know what graphics card i can get to replace the old one i have a nvidia geforce 9800gt

The cheapest replacement to get comparative or better graphics would likely be an HD 6670($75-100 depending on model). If you're willing to spend more, than obviously you could get yourself a nice upgrade from there, whether you look at Nvidia or AMD.

was thinking of spending about £100~£150 or a bit more if it makes a big diffrence
