PC Problems

So, i have my mobo, dvd drive, and power supply hooked up in my case with the ram fans and lights in it, without the processor or Video Card. i turn on my power and it stays on for about 1 1/2 seconds then shuts off, what is happening????????????


Case=coolermaster elite 430 plus
MOBO+MSI Z77A-G43
Power Supply=Rosewill HIVE series 750 watt
Ram=Gskill sniper 8gb

ummm....you dont have a processor in your motherboard!!! lol the computer cannot function without the brain im surprised it even powers up with out a cpu you need to put a cpu in there for it to function
