Hey guys. Is the GeForce GTX 550 ti compatible with the Gigabyte ga-z77x-ud5h-wb?
Does it depend on the manufacturer?
Also, how would i check compatibility with cards in general?

Thanks

Any modern motherboard uses a pci-e video card. So ANY pci-e video card is compatible with your mobo.

You should be more concerned with will your power supply support the card.

the PSU is the Antec EA650 so it's 650 watts. I think that should be enough, right?

Right. Your good to go. But 550 Ti is somewhat a so-so card for its $ value. Please put the link to the 550 Ti you wish to purchase so we can suggest alternatives within your price range.
