The issue...I am allowed 3 IP addresses from my ISP but need to hook-up 4 computers to the internet. I have a router but am too stupid to figure it out. I have a CradlePoint MBR1000 and their website was of little help.

Please don't use very many acronyms....after one or two my vision starts to blur and it is a kin to speaking Greek.

most all routers will only allow you to use One of the IPs given to you by your ISP.

log into your router and choose WAN under the Basic menu.

at the bottom of the Wired Wan Connection change from Dynamic IP to Static IP and you should be able to assign One of the three IPs plus other info provided by your ISP.

once set up, connect the router to the modem and a computer to the router to test it. Make sure the computer does not have a static ip assigned. If it does, enable the computer to obtain a IP automatically.
