Anybody heard of or had experiance using backup software that will backup to removable hot swap drives for a backup solution? What we have= 5 180 Seagate HD and we keep two weeks of data on each. We are using Win2K NT Backup for right now until we can find back up software that can do a better job. We do not want to use disk-to-disk copy program. We need software that will treat the hard disk like a tape drive. I have found only one that is Ultrabac and not sure about BrightStor by CA. Would like to know if there are any others out there. Thanks

P.S. Owner Company does not like tape solution at all that is why we are doing HD back up. No choice in the matter at all.

Are you asking about 3d party software for backup on harddrives
for a Win2K and NT Server ? Workstations also?
What else? MS Exchange Server? SQL Server? Oracle?
Corporate laptops? Internet/e-mail Server?

What's a "5 180 Seagate HD" ?
Is it the Barracuda 180 ST1181677LCV Ultra160 SCSI 180GB?

Yes it is the Barracuda 180 ST1181677LCV Ultra 160 Scsi 180 GB. We are using 5 one for each day of the week. Need it for Windows 2000 Server, also needs to have open files agent, exchange agent and SQL agent. Sorry if i left that part out. All good points to bring up.
