Pci x16 slot doesnt line up with a bracket?

Hello, i built my first build and i will be fitting a gtx 670 to my rig in a couple days however my pci slot does not look like it will line up with one of the brackets to screw it down. these are my specs:
i5 3470
gigabyte ga-b75m-d3v
antec vp650w
4gb ddr3 g.skill (2x2gb)
thermaltake commander ms-iii
lite-on dvd drive
500gb seagate barracuda 7200rpm
so if any body can tell me what i can do or if they think it will fit because i have not determined that yet and it would be good to know now before i go spending 410$ on something i cant install and use. also how do i upload a pic of it it only shows enter a url to upload it? it is saved to my pc

Hi, It shouldn't line up. The PCIe slot is a little bit up http://homepages.nildram.co.uk/~chsmith/Clunk/Mobo_pci-e.jpg .
and
http://www.extremetech.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/GTX670-34.jpg See where the pins are. They are not centred with the bracket/s.

Not very clear, but it seems OK. Compare it to the photo in the link above.

the black strip of metal with holes is are the brackets for the pci slot it is hard to see

The board should have PCI slots, I think. If you have an old PCI card, install it and see if it does match the bracket. If it fits in, then a PCIe card would fit also. Cases and boards use standard dimensions.

it does have pci slots however this is the only desktop in the house and my first build so i dont have any other pci things. but idk what you mean because im trying to find out whether the x16 slot will work if it will line up so i dont see how checking if another slot will line up because they look like they will anyway
