Piledriver will be better than the 8150 hence it's being called the 8350. All CPU's will be 10%-20% improved than their younger brothers(4100, 4170, 6100, 6200, 8120, 8150). it wwill come up to compete with Intel. But the Steamrollers, which come out early-mid next year, are suppose to be some of the best ever made. Who knows?

Piledriver won't improve performance by a lot. IB was said to have 10-20% better performance, turned out to be 5%. Steamroller though...I hope that AMD makes a complete turnaround. If they go back to hand-manufactured designs they could have a good chip on their hands.

ok hmmm well if i go with the 8150 which hopefully someone will trade me my i5 for the 8150 ... i can get the M5A97 since i know that the M5A97 is a nice mobo for a nice price and i already have the gtx670 and 850 psu so im pretty much set correct?

Don't get the 8150! The Phenom II x4 is just as good, and the 8150 is more expensive. Get the M5A97 and Phenom II x4. Trust me, FSX is not a demanding game. You're overspending. Use the Phenom until Steamroller comes out, then upgrade.
