So my motherboard supports dual SLI but when there are two cards in the PCI-e x16 slots they both run at x8 speed. Will I still be able to see the benefits of using a dual SLI because of the speed being reduced or will it be the same as running one card? Thanks in advance!

The Cards are both EVGA Nvidia 560ti OC : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130651
And the Mobo is a Gigabyte Z81A-DH3-B3 with and Intel i5 2500k OC'd to 4.0Gh/z

Okay, well x8/x8 is fine, depending on the cards it operates at about 95% of x16/x16. These numbers are all subjective to the card, drivers, system specs, game/benchmark/program being used. But if I had to take a wild guess it would be between 88%-96%. You just want to avoid putting a card in an x4 slot because that WILL kill performance.

No, running the cards in a x8 x8 configuration will work fine. The only thing you really need to be wary of is trying to run a high performance card in a x4 slot.

And I think that you may have the model number incorrect for your motherboard. A quick search revealed nothing for what you have posted.
