GPU: Sapphire 6850 1GB (6-pin)
HDD: crappy 120GB samsung with 8mb cache

This is what I currently have. Now it's time for getting a PSU, preferably a used one. Although, I've almost completely run out of build budget, hence I cannot really afford a new expensive one and to be honest, I don't really have much experience with power supplies.

So, what do you think, what's the lowest price (and preferably used) 500-550w PSU I can get for my rig online?

Hi Sandro - Easier to tell us your budget for a PSU, and then we can
provide recommendations much easier. Don't think a lot
of us will recommend used tho.

You could run that on a 380w
Don't buy used power supplies

Hi sandro - gpu mfg's put that on their cards to allow for PSU's that
don't deliever their publ specs (yes - many companies outright lie).
Your sys with the 6850 will draw lees than 300w, 430/450 wil cover
it. I'll link a 500w in a min you might be able to afford.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139027 nets to $40 after mir & promom
and having the 500w will avoid any potential hassles if the gpu needs to be RMA'd
