WTH is Primary PCI Slot for Sound Card? -_-

I've got an Aureal SQ2500 I'm trying to please in my Abit TH7-RAID but I keep getting this error on boot saying the card is not in the primary PCI slot so it can't use a lot of functions.. I looked in the manual for both sound card and motherboard and it is nowhere to be found. I've card swapped all over the place and the error continues.. does anyone have an idea if this is an IRQ the slot needs or a certain slot or if there is no slot on modern mobos?

If it is a VIA Chipset, it is more than likely slot# 1 but in my experience, slot #3 is best. You might have a damaged MB or sound card.

If it works for you then don't fix it.

If it's a VIA chipset, give up, it's not compatable.
