Just download GPU-Z and it should bring up what kind of video graphics you have

Generally speaking laptops do NOT have discrete GPU cards but rather have a GPU chip soldered to the MB. This means that they cannot be upgraded. This is just one of many significant differences between laptops & desktops. Lots of people seem to think that a laptop is just like a desktop that you can take with you. Not true.
