Purchasing new dell (laptop)

So my current laptop is coming up to 3 years old and I am interested in getting a new one. I am going with dell just because I have a preferred account with them and 0% financing for a year.

I was looking at the Inspiron 15R special edition but would like some input.

Approximate Purchase Date: Aug 2012

Budget Range: $1500 with tax/shipping

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming (diablo 3, battlefield, etc)

Are you buying a monitor: No




Additional Comments: My current laptop (dell studio xps 1645) has a terrible ventilation system. The fan is going out of the back of the laptop so when the lid is opened most of the space gets blocked. I don't want to deal with that again.

Additional Comments: 3rd gen I7 preferred (unless you can talk me out of it)
