Customizing Dell XPS 8500

Hi,

I want to upgrade the computer I use for audio recording (DAW). The Dell XPS 8500 seems to fit the bill nicely, but I will have to customize it. I don't mind customizing it, as it would still be cheaper than building the same computer from scratch.

Here's the thing: It comes with a graphics card and one hard drive. I need three hard drives, and I do not need a special graphics card (the Core i5 Ivy graphics is way more than enough for my needs.) Therefore, I want to remove the graphics card and install two additional hard drives. My question is, will the computer case get too hot running three hard drives? Will I have to get an additional fan? If I need a new fan, then I will opt for external drives, as more fan would be likely too noise for an audio recording machine.

Thanks for any advice.
