ok i got a toshiba a15-s129 and yet its not enabled the wifi .. the light is amber and i got the module drivers and the function keys .. i hit the function + f8 yet nothing and i also have the software for atheros and yet it says wireless network interface disabled? any clue on how to enable this wireless or how to disable the hotkeys so it will not find any settings for it ...?

Does the adapter show up in Control Panel>System {Hardware if XP}>Device Manager? Is Function 8 the key with the wireless icon - similar to ((0)) on it and have you tried it without the Fn key while Windows is running? It's better to let Windows control wireless than the manufacturer's utility - especially if we're talking about an Atheros 507 chip.
