GTX 670 low FPS in Crysis

Anyone know what FPS a GTX 670 should do in Crysis ( not Crysis 2 )

I set my settings to very high and 8X AA ( Only getting 35 to 40 FPS seems low for this build

i5 3570

GTX 670

8GB DDR3 1600

Should also note the driver is 301.42 and this is play Crysis 64 bit DX 10

I don't have Crysis but I know a few friends that have 670's and play Crysis without any hiccups on maxed setttings. One thing is for sure, your cpu, video card, and memory should easily support that game with better fps. Do you have a good PSU? Also, I would recommend updating your video card driver to the newest beta driver 304.48. Many 670's had a stuttering issue which caused performance related issues in game for many people. The new driver fixed that and more.

Yes my PSU is a good QL PSU Corsair HX 750W

Yeah i think i seem this ( stuttering issue ) in Skyrim, when running around it does a little 2 step lol

Crysis is a coding failure it can't truely use your GPU's max power just like Metro 2033

You're getting normal fps if you set AA to 8x. Look at benchmark with 4x AA:

Was this at very high settings ?

I am getting 30 to 60 on very high 8X AA

40 to 90 on high settings ?

^ Yeah this seems true, Some may ask why use a 5 year old game to test, I like to use it because back then ( NO PC could MAX it ) So i just like to try with a Newer system and still cant Max it so i guess its broke lol

site tests usually consist of using a high end i7 cpu + mobo with the tested gpu to prevent any cpu bottleneckings. depending on when those tests were released, its most likely tested on a sandy bridge-e lga 2011 platform.

well thats very dependent where in the game you are. so are those the FPS all the time or are those spikes? my 79750 well out perform a 670 in crysis, but parts where there is alot of AI i drop to 35 or so. im averaging 55 60 with maxed settings and 4xAA

My old i5 750 and HD 5850 anyways did good in Crysis IMO it like AMD GPUs more

Thats so ridicules, even now we can max out a 5 year old game with 60 fps on a single gpu.

I'm sure even a 690 can't keep a steady 60 fps all the time in Crysis
