Had a bit of a laugh in the AH, was bidding on a greeny mace, level 15* use
which was at 20 odd silver. It still had very long to go and I was going to
retire for the night so I thought I would bid high and hopefully catch it
whilst I slept.

So, I typed in 90 silver just to be sure.

Actually, that was what I meant to type in, using the wrong box what in fact
I typed in was 90 GOLD.

Looks like someones christmas came early this year. :-)

*decent low level usable items are pretty rare on my servers AH.

I've pulled that one off before. Not near as much as you, but I did bid 45
gold on a Blood Ring.... That's why you should never drink and play WoW at
the same time.

My record's paying 75 gold for 20 copper bars. Idiot or philanthropist?

Yes, idiot.

I had someone pay 15 gold for a stack of medium leather once. I saw his bid
before the auction closed, so I knew who it was, and I saw him online, as a
level 10...I didn't feel that bad about abusing a stupid twink. He never
seemed to notice; I never got a tell from him. Probably would have refunded
it to him if he had asked, but I wasn't going to volunteer.

True, but there are always good low level sticks for sale. You can buy
them and shove them up your rectum, yay!

(Works also with mithril tubes or, ahem, the fishing pole you get in
Revantusk)

Hopefully there's no surgery money can't buy, so why not trying out
baseball bats, my competitive friend?
