I have a problem

My computer boots up and struggles to get through the windows screen once it is through the windows screen everything is huge Graphics wise still taking a while once it has loaded it just keeps lagging such as I click the button nothing happens. The only thing I have changed is the graphics card to a 8800 GTX OC 768MB could this cause this problem before I restarted my PC I was playing games and getting Connection Intterupted thats when I restarted and the boot up lag and graphics happend I haved tried different hardrive and different RAM. When I boot up via DVD drive it frezzez also

Asus P8P67 3.0
BFG 8800 GTX OC
8 GB DDR3 Corsair Vengance
i5 2500k
Western Digital Velociraptor 150GB
Seagate Baracuda 500GB
Hitachi 500 GB
650 Watt PSU

have you installed the mb chipset drivers?? if you dont windows cant install the video drivers right. then you have to go to nvidia web page and download the video card drivers.

I can't do this because I can't boot up all the way it just restarts after boot up my motherboard doesn't have display adapter so I have to try and use the graphics card

did your old hard drive has an os and was it pulled from another pc. if it was you have to boot into windows safe mode (f8) and remove the older drivers.

Ok I tried it no luck its so laggy I did get on windows but I can't click nothing keeps frezzing up trying to reinstall windows with DVD again that doesn't want to work I have defaulted my motherboard just incase so I think I need a new graphics card

it sounds like your graphics driver is corrupted

Uninstall or roll back the graphics driver and re-install a new download of the latest versin

I can't because it will not allow me on I have tried

start in "safemode with networking "

if it boots quickly its definitely the graphics driver
