Is this gaming build any use?

This is my first rig (am finally jumping away from my consoles) so would appreciate any constructive feedback for this build. I know it's a bit expensive at the moment, so any suggestions on what I should cut back on would be great. Although I would like the build to be good for the next few years, is this rig a colossal waste of my money?

More about gaming build
  1. Get the i5 3570K instead
Get the EVO 212 cooler instead
You don't need a sound card with that motherboard
    Get the haf 912
    Get more ssd less terrabyte
You don't need 1000w even in sli get 850 gold unless you'll triple your cards, which needs a new board.
  2. Your build is good on the core components, but the PSU, although good quality, is pretty loud and overkill in watts. Get a 550W XFX PSU if going with one 670 or a TX750 V2 for 2 670s. The Noctua NH-D14 performs the same but it is cheaper. Drop the sound card unless you have a great headset to go with it.
