Dual AMD Radeom 7900 cannot display 2560 x 1600

Hello,
I have upgraded my old system with twin video card to twin radeon 7900 series video cards but my Gateway 32" monitor cannot display over 1920 x 1200. Would an hdmi cable prevent it from doing so? I used to run 2500 x1600 without issue on my old Nvidia setup but used a DVI cable.

  1. An HDMI cable is only capable of displaying up to 1920x1200. If you want to display 2560x1600 you will need to use a Dual-Link DVI cable or a DisplayPort cable.
