I have just purchased a new dell xps 8500. I have always wanted to have a nice computer for gaming and need some help on choosing a graphics card and a power source for roughly 400 hundred dollars give or take. I have an intel i 7 processor and 8 gb of ram. I believe the current graphics card in here is a ati 4850 and its just not getting the job done. I play on resolutions of 1920x1080. I would like to be able to play alot of the newer games on high settings if not maxed out. Is this possible with this budget? Ive preferred to get my stuff from newegg but if another site has a deal I am willing to possibly go down that route as well. If you need any more information, ill try my best to help out.

Im going to look into the 7870 and the psu. This may sound like a dumb question but what is the difference between all of the versions of the 7870. The prices vary from 300 to 450 dollars. what makes one more expensive than the others.
