You dont need SLI for good gaming, SLI is more for 5670x1080 gaming or a single 120hz 1080p display

He said pros, no noobs.

*That CPU price is only for store pick-up only.

*SLI or Crossfire (depending on what card) is amazing for 1080, 1600 or 5670x1080.

*Why did you recommended an i5 2500k when the i5 3570k is out?? its not like there isn't extra money on his budget.

*7870?? why not a GTX670/660ti/7950??

OP buy this: CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($219.99 @ NCIX US)
CPU Cooler: Zalman CNPS11X Extreme CPU Cooler ($54.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($142.86 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($48.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB Video Card ($307.86 @ Newegg)
Total: $774.69
