Hello,
I will build a machine and have set up 2 layout, a bit cheap and a variant with a little extra. I am a bit unsure if I should invest in setup no 2 I use the machine for common tasks, as well as games like GTA and NFS, do not play BF, in other words, I need a machine that has to cope with some games. In addition, I use the machine as NAS to share data with xbox360 and Apple TV.

**Layout 1 NOK 7 300 (US dollar 1230)
•ASUS P8Z77-V LX, Socket-1155
•Intel® Core i5-3570K Processor, Socket-LGA1155, Quad Core, 3.4Ghz, 6MB, Boxed w/fan
•Fractal Design Define R3 Black Pearl
•Kingston DDR3 HyperX blu 1600MHz 16GB, 8GB 2Rx8 1G x 64-Bit x 2, DDR3-1600, CL10
•Silver Power SP-S750 750W PSU, ATX 12V V2.3, 80 Plus Bronze,
•Gainward GeForce GTX 560Ti 2GB PhysX, PCI-Express 2.0, 822MHz
•Lite-On DVD±RW Writer IHAS124-19

**Layout 2 NOK 10 500 (US dollar 1800)
• I consider the following motherboard, I want the deluxe as this is a better variant of the series but is a bit unsure whether it is wise to bring a thunderbolt that is available for Pro. Pro lacks bluetooth and wireless N dual. None of the cards have firewire.
1. ASUS P8Z77-V PRO/THUNDERBOLT,Socket-1155
2. ASUS P8Z77-V DELUXE, Socket-1155

• Dominator is fancy with lights, do not know if it can get in the way of the motherboard if you want to install an aftermarket fan, at the moment I have plans to go with the standard fan.
1. Corsair Dominator DDR3 1600MHz 16GB, Kit w/2x8GB XMS3 DHX, CL9-9-9-24, Platinum
2. Crucial DDR3 BallistiX Tactical 16GB, 16GB kit (8GBx2),1600MHz, 1.5V, CL8-8-8-24
• I have heard great things about Seasonic, but think that corsair also using Seasonic parts as well so I wonder if I were to choose 750 or go for the 850 W
1. Corsair HX 750W PSU, ATX 12V V2.2, 80 Plus Silver, Modular, 4x 6+2-pin PCIe, 12x SATA, 140mm Vifte
2. Seasonic X-750 80 Plus Gold , Modulær, Ultra Quiet

• Gainward GeForce GTX 570 1280MB PhysX
• Lite-On DVD±RW Writer IHAS124-19
• OCZ SSD Agility 3 Series 2.5" 120GB
SATA 6 Gb/s (SATA3.0), 525MB/500MB/s read/write, SandForce® SF-2281

I dont have possibilty of buying from international retailers so I'll stick to norwegian shops, so a price comparison that leads finding same product cheaper other places will not be of much interest :)
Thanks 4 ur time :) :)

En nordmann? :)

I'll post in English to make it possible for others to understand.

The LX board should be fine for your needs (I have a feeling that you won't do SLI in the future). You can always buy PCI expansion cards/USB dongles if you're in desperate need of Bluetooth and/or WiFi.

Are you sure you need 16GB RAM? What do you mean by "common tasks"? Do you have tons of demanding applications open at the same time? Do you do any photoshopping, video editing etc.? Especially the Corsair Dominator RAM looks like a waste of money to me.

I assume you are buying from komplett.no because of that Silver Power PSU (which, btw, is not a very good or popular brand, so you really want to get your hands on something like this TX650W. Remember: do not only buy from Komplett.no. Use prisjakt.no to compare prices. CDON and Dustinhome are two other sites I would recommend buying from.

What's your monitor resolution?

jepp :)

I have compared prices from mpx and komplett but will surely have a look at prisjakt :)

I wont be using SLi, and already have wifi connectivity and can surely live without BT.

Not really, so I'm going for 8GB RAM, dont have applications that use much all the time.

Isn't the HX series from corsair better? Is TX a modular PSU? Will 650 be enough for me or I should go for something above like 750W?

Should I go for a GTX 670 card? that cost kr. 1100 more then the Gainward GeForce GTX 570 1280MB PhysX but is a newer card.

Definitely go for a GTX 670 if you can afford it. A 650W PSU will handle it just fine. Get the HX650 if you want a modular one, or stick witht the TX650 if you don't care about that. The quality of both units is very very good.

I'd stick with the LX.

RAM if you want an aftermarket CPU cooler: http://cdon.no/elektronikk/corsair_8gb_(kit)_ddr3_1600mhz_9-9-9-24%252fvengeanc-14929243?utm_source=prisjakt&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=prisjakt_no
