Hi all, hope someone can help!

I have recently moved from a Nokia 6100 to a SE T630 and want to get
the archived SMS messages from the 6100 across to the T630.

The 6100 stores the SMS on the phone itself not the SIM
(understandably due to memory size etc) but does not allow you
(AFAICT) to transfer the SMS to the SIM to transfer to a new phone.

I have a cable connection to the Nokia and BlueTooth connection to the
SE. I also have Nokia PC Suite, Oxygen Phone Manager, all the SE
software, FMA.

Is there any way I can move these SMS without forwarding them (and
thus losing the date/time/sender info)

TIA

Does this retain all the message data, i.e. sender and time and date?

I have access to a 6310i, will this be of use?

Unfortunately, our program doesn't allow to set memory location for
SMS messaged directly. You will need one more phones, that stores SMS
messages only on SIM card (Nokia 3410 for example). I.e., you can
complete the task in following steps:

1) Connect Nokia 6100 to PC
2) Run Oxygen Phone Manager II
3) Read SMS messages
4) Connect Nokia 3410
5) Load SMS messages to this phone

Now you can put SIM card to your SonyEricsson T630. Trial license
enables to upload only one SMS message per program's session. You can
download free trial license here: http://www.opm-2.com/ Full license
doesn't have any limitations on uploads. You can register full license
here: http://www.oxygensoftware.co.uk/order/

Our program saves these data in internal format. You can see it in
Oxygen Phone Manager II in its interface.

Nokia 6310i stores SMS messages only in the phone's memory. You will
need one of lower-class phones, such as 5210, 3410 or 8210- these
phones store SMS messages on SIM card.
