P5W DH ready for 64 bit?

Core 2Duo 6600 Asus P5W DH motherboard 7 GB ram. Recently installed Win 7 64 bit. System info says -available memory 7 GB usable 3 GB. Do I need to update Bios? Change Bios settings instal 64 bit drivers?

Does your BIOS see the 7GB or the 3GB?

I had a similar problem and I had to re-seat the memory strips to make the BIOS see the strips.

7GB is an unusual number.
Are all your memory strips the same manufacturer?
What DDR are they? Are they all the same DDR version?
