Hello hello,

I know very little of computers, but after checking the net, I think I've concluded this spec to be what I want. I figure it has SLI optional down the road, good parts that will run modern games exceptionally well, and will last. But I ask if you see any flaws or think that it will have compatibility issues. If something comes to mind, lemme know! I'm ordering after my shift at work and just want to make sure all is well.

SAMSUNG 830 Series 2.5-Inch 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-7PC128B/WW
Corsair Carbide Series 300R Mid-Tower Gaming Case - CC-9011014-WW -
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler with 120mm PWM Fan (RR-212E-20PK-R2)
LG Electronics GH24NS90B 24 X SATA Super Multi DVD+/-RW Internal Drive - Bulk without Software - Black
Patriot Memory Intel Extreme Masters 8 GB (2 x 4GB) PC3-12800 CL9 Memory Kit - PVI38G160C9K
Gigabyte Intel Z77 LGA 1155 AMD CrossFireX/NVIDIA SLI W/ HDMI,DVI,DispayPort Dual UEFI BIOS ATX Motherboard GA-Z77X-UD3H
GIGABYTE GV-N670OC-2GD GeForce GTX 670 Windforce OC 2048MB GDDR5 256-bit PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Graphics Card
Intel Core i5-3570K Quad-Core Processor 3.4 GHz 4 Core LGA 1155 - BX80637I53570K
Seagate Barracuda 7200 1 TB 7200RPM SATA 6 Gb/s NCQ 64MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Bare Drive ST1000DM003

If anyone has any recommendations, or videos that they recommend for step-by-step "putting a PC together," that would be great!

Thanks!

your build looks ok.

id suggest something like a xfx xxx 750w power supply if you are to do SLI in the future. otherwise, the 550w would do

id suggest gskill ares 1600mhz 2x4gb cl9 ram instead. the patriot memory might not fit under the heatsink

newegg has a build guide on youtube. check it out

Awesome, thanks!

Wouldn't happen to know if there's anything else I'll need to buy for the PC? (Wiring, etc)

By the looks of it, I might need a SATA cable for the LG, but I'm not sure about the rest. Guess I'd have to pre-watch a step-by-step tutorial first.
