I've been playing with my new G5. I find that I can play around with the
piccies after I've taken them such as zoom in to a particular person in a
group. Please, can anyone tell me how to save the zoomed in image to my
flash card so that I can get a print of the original shot and also the
modified one?

You will need to save it as take,n then you can manipulate it in a photo
editor.
If you want to print direct, the Kodak kiosk and most 'while you wait
places' let you do rudimentary manipulation including cropping prior to
uploading the print. Same for most online services. I've had no experience
with direct camera to printer stuff so cannot comment.
Most of us in this ng use their favorite photo editor for all but casual
printing. If you are new to this, there is a learning curve. However, like
most computer software, you don't have to absorb everything at once and in
my case I will probably never use the full capability of the package I use.

You can't save a zoomed part of a review picture. You can however crop the
image after you have saved it to your pc through software.
