Hello,
Actual question is "Whether faulty SMPS leads to freezing??".
I given my machine's SMPS to my friend and borrowed old SMPS from another friend. After installing it my PC started to hang up and then restarts. sometimes automatically restart(if left ON for >6hrs).
I have two HDD one with win7 and another with XP(separate bootloaders). problem occurs similarly on both. My PC is virus free.
My PC do not have UPS frm last 4 years.(may be HDD problem)
What tools I have to use sequentially to detect problematic hardware?
