I was able to over burn (with out realizing it...) a crappy Cursor 700MB CDR with 787MB of data (78.02min of VCD 2 quality MPEG 1) With my LG CD-RW CED-8102B. The disk plays fine in any computer cdrom/dvd-rom and my standalone DVD player. And from what cdrdao said I had a little more room :) I could probably fit 790MB of data.

[edit] I should note that the program I used (cdrdao) had detected and burned with 12x... It probably slowed down near the end but It only took around 5 min to burn the disk.
[edit again] You can probably just ignore that... Ive done tests with audio and It will only burn 82min... I'm still baffled as to why I can get 787 MB of DATA on to a disk with a different format... Oh well...
Edited by moose on 08/31/01 04:53 AM.
