I'm building my low budget gaming pc (im a casual gamer, i don't mind lower graphics, I care more about the budget) so the mobo is gonna be an ASUS M5A78L-M LX with 12 gb ram and an Hd 7770, I'm going to be running it in a 23" widescreen monitor. What I'm trying to decide is what CPU to get, I've read that the AMD bulldozer CPU's are trash but they're cheap and that's what I'm aiming for. But for that price range (actually 10 dollars lower) I can get a Phenom II x4 965BE. So what would you advice?

My choice would be between the P II 965BE or FX4300 totally skipping the FX bulldozers. So I would say the 965BE.
My fx 4100 bottlenecks my 660ti in any game that is cpu intensive so i would suggest skipping bulldozer and go for the six core... the 965 be is nice but not very "future" proof
I like the new FX processors like the 4300. I doubt it would bottleneck an HD 7770.
